Dianna S. Bradley is a cultural heritage professional and educator. She has worked for fine art museums, libraries, and archives; and is passionate about ensuring cultural heritage materials are accessible to all. She has experience as a museum registrar and educator, and currently works as a digital archives metadata specialist and has been an active member of her academic libraries' visual and performing arts program, Art in the Library.
Dianna is a crafter and fiber artist, and is always playing with new materials and making something cozy. She is the human to a cat and a dog who both keep her on her toes and outside in the sun.

My dissertation is a qualitative narrative study of academic librarians who curate exhibitions for their library spaces. My Ph.D. program focuses on museum education and visitor-centered curation. This approach to curatorial work centers the intended audience and education in the curatorial practice, and highlights social justice as a foundational starting point. I am approaching my dissertation with these principles in mind.

My masters program focused on museum and cultural heritage studies. I focused my area of study on Medieval religious art. I completed a year long internship at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, where I conducted a capstone project on accessible tours for visitors who were deaf or hard of hearing. I was imbedded within the collections department and learned key skills in preparetorship, registrar work, and museum education.

I completed a combined major of history and religion. My senior seminar focused on the evolution of slavery in the united states, and my final thesis focused on the manipulation of religion for both the pro-abolition and anti-abolitionist movements.
