Community of Practice
The warp & weft is a community of practice made up of members of my Ph.D. cohort. We began as a traditional homework and study group, and our focus has evolved as we moved along our individual research paths.
We have curated an exhibition where we explored sharing different steps along the journey of earning a PhD, and are currently working on a reflective narrative based article about that experience.
We continue to meet regularly as we work on our individual research as well as structured meetings to work on our group projects. As members have graduated and moved away, we continued to be intentional about our friendships and support for eachother as we navigate different levels and areas of our careers.
